Amy is passionate about supporting individuals through their psychological distress and empowering others to make meaningful life changes. She strives to create a supportive and non-judgemental environment for clients in order to facilitate self-awareness and growth.

​

Amy has experience in providing evidence-based psychotherapy to a diverse range of clients. She has treated children, adolescents, and adults for a range of presenting problems including depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, trauma, stress, abuse, and grief and loss. She has a special interest in the treatment of post traumatic stress, generalised anxiety and mood disorders in adolescent and adult populations.

Amy primarily practices from the therapeutic frameworks of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She has experience working with individuals and groups within community-based and hospital-based settings.

​

Through the University of Queensland, Amy completed her Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA), is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and a Member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
