Roxana has always had a passion for assisting people in navigating challenging circumstances and reaching their potential. Through her doctorate training and professional practice, Roxana has successfully helped a wide range of clients across a number of settings, and believes in fostering strengths and resilience, as well as overcoming difficulties and reducing distress when supporting people to reach their goals.

While working mainly from a cognitive behavioural therapy framework, she will adopt or integrate elements of emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness, or acceptance and commitment therapy to tailor the treatment plan to the unique preferences and needs of each person.

Roxana is particularly skilled in supporting adults and teens experiencing anxiety (e.g. frequent worries/sense of unease), obsessions & compulsions, social fears, panic, phobias, depression, low self-esteem, or struggling to adjust to difficult life events or cope with past traumatic experiences. She is very experienced in remediating social and emotional difficulties in children, and in supporting parents to manage their child's anxiety, aggression or challenging behaviours. Roxana has a warm, understanding, practical approach, with a focus on helping translate insights and gains made in the therapy room into everyday life.
